CCWN receives $3000 food donation from Casablanca Hotel Grimsby Lincoln News Wednesday, November 4, 2020 The shelves at Community Care West Niagara (CCWN) will be a little fuller thanks to a sizable food donation from the Casablanca Hotel. The hotel donated around $3,000 in overstocked food to the food bank, which serves Grimsby and the communities of west Niagara. Casablanca Hotel general manager Murray Lathem said the donation came about as a way to put their surplus inventory into good hands. “We had an overstock of inventory, and it is coming to the end of year. Considering COVID-19 and the business environment, we thought it would be best to find a way for the food not to go to waste.”
